The difference between an
  opinion & one that countssm
The People's Email Network exists to give you an avenue to more effectively communicate with your legislative representatives. We take no political position on any of the questions presented. That is your responsibility as a citizen. All aspects of this website, including the next question to be considered, are driven solely by your participation. Approximately once a week you will have an opportunity to speak out on a new issue of national importance. Help us spread the word about this resource to everyone you know.

Mission Statement:
Our democracy is only as strong as the participation of the people. Do your representatives only hear from you once every two or four years, assuming you vote at all? There are members of Congress who publicly bemoan the fact that they don't hear from more of their constituents more often. Our leaders are our generals in the political arena, but we are their troops. They can't do battle for us against opposing interests without being able to demonstrate our ongoing support. The People's Email Network is constructed to facilitate communication with our elected officials. By your participation you can establish that you are a voter who will call your government to account at each successive election. Your views do count. They will be heard. And most importantly, when you cast your votes in the next section below, be sure to use the ground-breaking input functions of our website to also submit the email addresses of everyone you know. In this way we can together mobilize the entire country to speak in the loudest possible voice.

What Do You Think Of Sinclair Broadcast Group And Their Upcoming Anti-Kerry Documentary?
Why don't you tell Congress and the FCC where you stand? Here, we'll make it easy for you. All you have to do is fill in one form now and with one click we will send your personal message to the FCC and both of your senators and your house representative. We'll even look them up based on your address and tell you who they are. And at the same we will format an invitation you can send to the email addresses of everyone else you know with just one additional easy click. The issues are whether Sinclair is acting in the public interest with regards to their next license renewal, and if this is a violation of campaign finance law as a free commercial. Just a few simple words from you mean more than any form letter can. Please read the question carefully. If you think what Sinclair wants to do is OK, vote "yes", otherwise vote "no".
First vote on the current question for you to help decide:
Is it fair for Sinclair Broadcasting's Anti-Kerry special to be
aired without an equal time response?   Yes   No
Tell Congress who you are:
Email: Zip:
First name: Last name:
Most members of congress will not accept an email without a street address. Some require a phone number. This information is not transmitted in messages sent to any additional "friends" emails.
Addr: Apt/Ste: City:
State: Phone:  (optional) Clear address fields
Next add your own personal message to the FCC and your Congress:

This is an important section. The FCC and your members of Congress want to know what you think. All comments should be appropriately respectful and in acceptable taste. The way to have maximum impact is by sending voting invitations to as many of your fellow constituents as possible and encourage them to make their voices heard also.
